60. Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, “Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.

Peter got down on his knees and prayed. When is the last time you were on your knees praying? Peter in this passage is grieved for this dead woman. I can imagine the pain and passion he must have had when he got down on his knees and prayed. I believe Peter had this passion and faith because he was sure that God would hear his prayer. Sometime we pray weak prayers without passion and little faith that they will be acted on. We should pray with passion and faith that God is listening and He has the power to move mountains.
Today I ask, are you on your knees with passion and faith that God is hearing your prayers?
